Understand the practice as a business.
TheGonch Finance is being developed to connect practice revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow and tax preparation with the operating activity already captured across the platform.
Revenue is only part of the picture.
Production tells an advisor what they were paid. It does not say what the practice cost to run, what was left, when cash actually arrived, or what will be owed. Finance is intended to hold that layer.
Each layer of the platform answers a different question.
This is the direction Finance is being built toward. It describes intent, not a product a firm can use today.
Not another disconnected financial tool.
Finance is intended to read from the same organisational structure, the same roles and permissions, and the same operating record as Activity Tracking and Prospecting. A firm would not provision it separately, and an advisor would not sign in to it separately.
Who can see a practice’s economics is a question the platform already answers for activity and pipeline. Finance inherits the answer.
Finance is in development and is not currently available.
Nothing on this page is a screenshot of a finished product, and no release date is published. The scope above describes what is being built and why; details will change as it is built.
Firms evaluating TheGonch today should evaluate Activity Tracking, which is available, and Prospecting, which is in beta. Firms with a specific interest in practice finance are welcome to talk to us about the roadmap.
